CRUE Magazine is a digital daily magazine that features smart, sophisticated conversation starters for the modern professional. CRUE is a part of the ding! Marketing Studio portfolio and allows ding! clients to access an estimated 38,000 potential new customers monthly. Additionally, CRUE advertisers reach thousands of new customers through monthly and annual mixers, workshops, conferences, and promotional products.

The magazine debuts in November 2016 with a private Memphis-based launch event in December.

CRUE Magazine is based in Memphis, TN with a national audience and equally widespread crue. We are currently hiring for five positions nationally.

Asst Advertising Manager (Memphis, TN residency required):

The Assistant Advertising Manager is responsible for managing all digital advertising sales and event sponsorships for CRUE Magazine. This highly independent and competitive self-starter must motivate and oversee a small team of advertising sales agents in the tri-state region. The Assistant Advertising Manager must be able to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly quotas; negotiate effectively with clients; and communicate on-going sales goals to the team. This individual is responsible for maintaining professional, deadline-driven communication with the creative designer, completing placement forms, and maintaining quality control standards to ensure client satisfaction.

Managers receive a very competitive commission on all successful advertising sales, plus a bonus based on sales team success. At least one year of successful B2B sales experience required, two years preferred. Some college required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in sales team management a bonus.

Sales Representatives (National; Remote Work Considered):

Advertising sales representatives are responsible for securing digital advertising sales and event sponsorships on behalf of CRUE Magazine. Competitive self-starters are invited to apply to join our growing team. Responsibilities will include building and maintaining a list of sales leads through outbound calling, canvassing, and networking. A minimum daily and weekly quota of sales calls and sales must be adhered to for bonus pay. All sales will result in a highly competitive commission.

Sales reps report to the Advertising Manager or Asst Advertising Manager (depending on region) and are responsible for maintaining daily activity records, submitting purchase orders and creatives to respective team members, and following up to ensure advertiser satisfaction.

CRUE Magazine is always hiring interns for our seasonal 10-week internship program. The Fall/Winter Program runs from 11/1 – 1/15. The Spring/Summer Program runs from 5/1 – 7/15. Interns will gain experience in managing all aspects of a digital magazine, including content creation, editing, promotions, advertising sales, and experiential engagement. To participate in our program, candidates must be a current student or recent graduate (most recent school year) of an accredited undergraduate program.
